📦 Shipping Policy — Dear Nikola

At Dear Nikola, we want your order to arrive safely, securely, and as smoothly as possible. This Shipping Policy explains how we process and deliver your items, what you can expect, and what is (and isn’t) covered.


1. Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–7 business days after payment is received.
Processing includes order verification, quality checks, and packing prior to dispatch.

Please note:

  • Orders are not processed on weekends or public holidays.

  • Processing times are separate from shipping times.


2. Shipping Times

We ship worldwide from our fulfilment facility in China via YunExpress and other trusted logistics partners.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • Standard Shipping: 7–14 business days (varies by destination)

Delivery timeframes are estimates only. Actual delivery may be impacted by customs, local courier schedules, weather conditions, or unforeseen events outside our control.


3. Shipping Costs

Shipping is not free.
All shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and selected method.

Optional Shipping Insurance can be added at checkout for an additional fee (see Section 5).


4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.

Please allow up to 72 hours for tracking information to activate after dispatch.


5. Shipping Insurance & Liability

Shipping Insurance is optional and can be purchased at checkout.

If Shipping Insurance is added:

  • We will assist with replacing or refunding eligible items in accordance with the insurer’s policy.

If Shipping Insurance is not purchased:

  • Dear Nikola is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays that occur in transit once the package has been handed to the carrier.

We strongly recommend adding Shipping Insurance for peace of mind.


6. Customs, Duties & Taxes

International orders may incur customs duties, VAT, or additional import fees.
These charges are not included in product or shipping prices and are the customer’s responsibility.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs inspections.


7. Incorrect or Undeliverable Addresses

Customers must provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, additional re-shipping fees may apply.

We cannot deliver to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or locations where courier delivery isn’t available.


8. Delivery Delays

Delivery may be delayed due to:

  • Customs clearance

  • Local courier backlogs

  • Severe weather

  • Strikes or unforeseen service disruptions

Delays outside our control are not covered under our shipping liability.


9. Lost or Stolen Packages

If your tracking information shows “delivered” but you haven’t received your parcel, you will need to contact the carrier directly.

Dear Nikola cannot refund or replace orders that are lost or stolen after delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.
